Choosing the right Project Management software depends upon a number of factors and with so many options available on the market how do you choose the tool best suited for your requirements? Collaboration Does the system fit into the category that matches the needs of your organisation? Does it encourage you to work smarter? Project Management software should allow for collaboration on projects so that teams are able to work together remotely as well as on-site. Flexibility You shouldn’t have to change the way the organisation is run in order to accommodate a new system. Stability Do your research on the company, look up case studies, and user testimonials. How long has the company been in operation? Do they have a solid reputation within the industry? Are they knowledgeable about your industry and committed to their product?

Cost and Functionality. A Project Management solution should be able to provide visibility of your project at all stages of the job for every person involved. Look at features such as reporting and task setting, timesheets, forecasting, budgeting and resource planning It’s worth mentioning cost here; standalone and basic probably won’t be suitable for the long term when your needs and functions grow.
