
Rapport 3’s Contacts Integration module synchronises basic contact information between Rapport 3 and Microsoft Active Directory. Once the contact information is within Active Directory, it can then be accessed via the MS Exchange Global Address List, within Outlook or via a Smartphone.
The benefit of this integration module is that it expands the usefulness of a centralised contact database. It gives your contacts database the potential to be utilised by many other applications, ensuring that only a single source is used for contact data and that everyone is always accessing the most up-to-date information.
Rapport 3 has a number of checks and controls to help reduce the creation of duplicate contacts thus making the Rapport 3 contact list the primary contact data store.
Using Rapport 3 as your primary contacts database means you aren’t limited by storage capacity; it can easily store tens of thousands of contacts, which are seamlessly synchronised with the Active Directory.
