Are we fulfilling your Integration needs?

Paul Wilkinson, leading construction technology consultant and the writer behind Extranet Evolution recently published an article on his website outlining the capabilities of our Rapport3 Practice Management software alongside 3rd Part Integrations.

We currently provide integration for Accounting, Email Management, Photo Management and Information management, this ensures there is a seamless exchange of data between Rapport3 and the system providing consistency and eliminating the need for data re-entry.  In the article, amongst exploring the capabilities of Rapport3, Paul poses the question,

“What, if any, other integrations might be useful to a Rapport3 user?”

The article suggests the possibility that there could be Rapport3 customer demand for some further type  of project information management or collaboration capabilities. It is certainly the case that Client demands and internal collaboration needs are driving the demand for more sophisticated integration tools to deliver the right information to the right person at the right time throughout the whole project life cycle. This begs the question, how do we  go one step further to fulfil these needs?

One suggestion is for Rapport3 customers to  be able to “connect with project-centric platforms and, in particular, BIM ‘Common Data Environment’ (CDE) systems” Is this something you would like to see? and if so, how?

With this and many other questions in mind, we are looking to hold a Rapport3 Integration Focus group at the beginning of next year.  Your input is important to us and it would be great if you can help guide the Rapport3 roadmap by providing your valuable feedback as well as professional insight. We also have a new starter Alex who will be welcoming into the Harrogate office in the New Year. Alex will take on the task of refreshing and writing new software elements that sit between Rapport and 3rd party applications. This demonstrates the investment we are making to ensure Rapport3 Project management software interfaces effectively with other systems already in use in your company and marks an exciting key change in the amount of development time integrations will receive.
